When will Tiger return to golf?

(PEOPLE.com) -- With speculation running rampant that Tiger Woods has left the Mississippi sex rehab facility where he's reportedly been seeking treatment, one of the questions on everyone's mind is: When will Woods return to golf?

"At this point, I don't even think Tiger knows when he's coming back," said veteran golf writer Art Spander, who spoke with Woods the weekend before his infamous Thanksgiving car crash that made world headlines.
One venue where Woods might re-emerge is the Accenture Match Play Championship, a five-day competition in Marana, Arizona, that begins Wednesday, February 17. Woods has won the event, which is open to the world's top 64 golfers, three times. And as the world's No. 1-ranked player, he's technically already entered to compete.

"We don't know anything official yet, but wouldn't that be nice?" Wade Dunagan, executive director of the big PGA event, told the Arizona Daily Star. "The main question is, 'Do I know anything you don't?' The answer is no. We're still in the dark. I can't confirm or deny anything, because I don't know."

More games, more questions

If Woods, 34, does choose to bow out of the competition, he'll need to do it no later than Monday, February 15, but some pundits are saying he'd probably choose to do it sometime over this weekend.
PGA Tour spokesman Chris Reimer called reports of the golfer's return mere "speculation."

Two other competitions where Woods could stage his return are the March 4-7 Honda Classic and the March 11-14 WGCCA Championship at Doral, both held in south Florida. At this point, it doesn't appear that Woods has decided whether or not he'll play either event. According to PGA rules, he can hold off notifying organizers of his intention to compete until the Friday before the tournament.

"We'd love to have him play here for his comeback," said Caroline Kerrigan, spokeswoman for the WGCCA Championship at Doral Golf Resort. "I know this is one of his favorite courses, but I don't have any word on whether or not he's playing [our event]."

Will Tiger pass Jack?

In December, Jack Nicklaus, who owns the record of 18 major championships that Woods could eventually eclipse, told reporters he doesn't "know the answer to what [Tiger] is going to do and what he is going to play. Certainly this year, where the majors are ... he obviously loves Augusta, Pebble Beach and St.

Andrews. He basically owns all three of those places. If Tiger is going to pass my record, I think this is a big year for him in that regard. If he doesn't play this year, obviously the chore is going to be a little tougher."
But, as Woods's pal Roger Federer predicted in December: "Soon he'll become the wonderful golfer that we know again."

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- Actress Brittany Murphy's death was an accident caused by a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and "multiple drug intoxication," the Los Angeles County coroner said Thursday.
The 32-year-old actress was found dead in her Hollywood Hills, California, home December 20.
The short statement issued by the coroner's office Thursday did not list the drugs involved, but assistant chief Ed Winter told CNN no illegal drugs were found in Murphy's system.

The full autopsy report would be available within two weeks, the coroner's office said.The primary cause of death was "community acquired pneumonia," but drugs found by the toxicology screening were believed to "play a role in her death," said coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey. "They just were not the primary cause, so they figured into the cause of death, so that's why it's an accidental death."
Murphy's husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack, has told People magazine the actress had "laryngitis and flu-like symptoms" at the time of her death.

Monjack said Murphy used Vicoprofen to relieve pain from severe menstrual cramps."She was on an antibiotic and was taking cough medicine," he said.

Murphy was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, after she was rushed there in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 20.The often bubbly, free-spirited actress appeared in films such as "Clueless," "8 Mile," "Don't Say a Word" and "Girl, Interrupted." She also lent her voice to animated works, including the movie "Happy Feet" -- in which she also sang -- and a regular voice role on the animated TV series "King of the Hill."

Murphy was best-known for her work in a string of comedies earlier this decade, including playing lead roles in "Uptown Girls" alongside fellow Georgia native Dakota Fanning and "Little Black Book" with Holly Hunter and Kathy Bates.
She is survived by her husband.

Taylor Swift Is the New American Idol

When was the last time the Grammys outdrew American Idol? What was the final score in Conan O'Brien vs. Jay Leno? And why is President Barack Obama NCIS: Los Angeles to President George W. Bush's NCIS?

The answers—and more questions—in the latest TV ratings quiz:
1. What is Clay Aiken to Taylor Swift and Beyoncé? A reminder of how long it had been since the Grammys really, truly was music's biggest night. Prior to Sunday, the Grammys last trumped Idol in the weekly rankings in February 2003, back when Aiken was still geeky, unknown and in the closet. All that changed when the Swift- and Beyoncé-led telecast scored more viewers (25.9 million) than Tuesday Idol (24.5 million) or Wednesday Idol (25.7 million).

2. Conan or Jay? Overall, Leno's Tonight Show "farewell" outdrew O'Brien's Tonight Show farewell: 11.9 million viewers to 10.3 million, final results show. Now, can we all move on? (Uh, no.)

3. Sarah Palin or Jay? Leno's appearance on Oprah was big, but Palin's remains the talk show's highest-rated episode of the season.

4. Obama or W? Obama's first official State of the Union address was big (48 million combined viewers), but George W. Bush's first one, in 2002, was bigger (51.8 million).

5. NCIS: Los Angeles or NCIS? See above. The new show's big (16.9 million), but its forerunner is bigger (20.2 million), even opposite Tuesday's Idol.

6. What is up with Bachelor Jake? His ratings. Last night's Bachelor averaged an estimated 11.7 million, ABC said, the franchise's latest season high.

7. What happened to Miss America on the way to irrelevancy? She came back! Saturday's ceremony on TLC was cable-big (4.5 million), and the biggest Miss America, audience-wise, since 2004 when the coronation aired on ABC.

8. When will we stop making note of Lindsay Lohan's The Parent Trap? When you people stop watching it. Yet again, the Disney Channel staple was cable's most-watched movie of the week (4.4 million). Other cable hits: Burn Notice (5.3 million); iCarly (5.2 million); Pawn Stars (4.4 million) and, in the spotlight, post-Jersey Shore, MTV's Teen Mom (3.6 million).

(PEOPLE.com) -- Russell Brand has absolutely no secrets to divulge about his upcoming wedding to Katy Perry. Well, maybe he can share a minor detail about the dress code.

"We are going to do the wedding naked! All the families will be naked!" Brand joked to PEOPLE at Sunday's 2010 Grammy Awards.

He's kidding. "We're still deciding what to do," he says. "There's no juicy details yet."
But actually, a naked ceremony is one of the less quirky visions Brand has had for the wedding day.

"All my dream weddings don't make sense," he says. That's probably because his dreams -- the literal, nighttime kind -- can be a bit hallucinatory.

"The vicar will start melting," he says. "The people in the front row will turn into people from my school. And then everyone will only say the word 'potato.' "

But in all seriousness, Brand, 34 -- who recently threw an engagement party in Beverly Hills with his fiancée, 25 -- says life is firing on all cylinders.

"I'm getting married to a beautiful woman," he says. "I'm enjoying my work."
What could be better? "Nothing," he says.

Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern

Ryan Reynolds, who’s already playing the role of Marvel’s Deapool, has been selected by Warner Bros to play as DC Comic’s Green Lantern in the upcoming movie dedicated to the green-ring hero.The news came as a surprise to all. But well, Ryan Reynolds is a good actor, and most agree that he’s a quite good choice. Here’s a fan-art rendition of Ryan Reynolds in the Green Lantern’s outfit:

This announcement of the lead actor indicates that the story of this Green Lantern movie will revolve around Hal Jordan, the original Caucasian Green Lantern. So we are likely to see the battle between Legion and Abin Sur, Abin Sur’s crash landing on Earth, as well as the choosing of Hal Jordan.

Director Martin (who helmed a few James Bond besides the upcoming Edge of Darkness movie) will be directing the upcoming live-action Green Lantern movie set to star Ryan Reynolds. He talked to Collider (here) about his take on the Green Lantern:



“It will be much more in the tone of Iron Man. It’s got to be. Certainly not Batman Begins, which is a pretty dark movie. No, he’s the Hal Jordan character who’s the sort of shoot from the hip, irresponsible kind of cocky test pilot if you will. In fact, the character seems to be the least likely to be chosen asGreen Lantern . Well, of course that’s the fun of it. So no, it’ll be much more like Iron Man. So it’ll have one foot in reality if you see what I mean.”

I can but agree with martin Campbell’s assessment. Hal Jordan is indeed a quite optimistic Green Lantern, almost cheeerful compared to John Stewart, the second human to become a Green Lantern (but that’s for an other movie, I hope!). 

Plot of the Green Lantern:
“A test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.”
The movie Green Lantern will be released on June 17, 2011.

Anyway Director Martin Campbell will have a significant budget ($150 million) to blow us away with the the movie Green Lantern, so let’s hope it will be awesome.

Who doesnt know about The Avangers?? Almost every comic freak know about The Avengers. The Avanger  is Superhero Alliance between Captain America, Iron Mn Hulk and Thor which is an initiative of S.H.I.E.L.D agent Nick Fury

Ok the good news is Marvel will Bring This thing into a live action movie like marvel superhro movies before. The Release Date is probably on May 2012.

This is like dram comes true for a geek or comic freak. In the Begining only Cap America, Iron Man, Thor who woll be join the team but it seems Hulk will join togther with the team.


Hal itu pun diungkapkan oleh pihak Marvel Studios', Kevin Feige. Selain Hulk, Kevin juga memastikan agen S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury, juga akan ikut beraksi bersama Iron Man, Thor dan Captain America di film tersebut.

"There are five who will be present, which the Hulk and that four to five is Nick Fury," he said as quoted Aceshowbiz, Friday (29/1/2010).
If all goes according to plan, actor Edward Norton will play Hulk again in the film that will release next May 4, 2012 it. Currently, Marvel was trying to bring the actors who previously had been playing superhero characters are.
'The Avengers' will be the first film featuring Marvel superheroes together. In the film, Iron Man, Thor, Captain, Hulk and Nick Fury will face their greatest enemy.

You al may know who played the Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Nick Fury, but until now has not been established who plays the captain, but seems that Sam Worthington Jwho played by ack Sully in Avatar is so interested being the Capt.

You all probably know about Thor.Yupz he is a Norse God superhero. It seems Marvel and Director Kenneth Branagh are well decided to bring us a Thor movie. 

Actor Chris Hemsworth, who played James T. Kirk’s father in the last Star Trek movie, the one who sacrifice himself to save his familly, has been casted asthe mighty Thor in the upcoming Thor movie which is set for a release in May 2011. We also know that Tom Hiddleston is going to play the role of Loki, Thor’s brother and nemesis:

Those two actors are not really well known. That’s maybe why Director Kenneth Branagh chose them: he prefers to avoid the movie to be get over hyped because of famous names: doing so, the public will judge the movie for what it is and according to what they were expecting.

From what I heard the movie Thor won’t get lost in supernatural Asgard in order to fit in the current mold of realism set by earlier movies based on Marvel’s characters

Actor Antony Hopkins has been selected to play the role of Odin, the ultimate leader of the Gods, in the upcoming Thor movie!

Odin is the father of the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and the cunning Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Odin is the almighty God among the Gods, but he can’t figure out how to bring peace between his two sons… But as almighty as he is, Odin is an old chap: the Norse god needs to hibernate from time to time… Time that Loki use to build ne conspiracies and to torment his brother… Yep, even Gods got family problems!

Some peope my have been wondering how the movie Thor, a Norse God superhero, would fit in Iron Man’s rational world. Well Kevin Feige does not ignore those concerns:






“We’re doing the Jack Kirby/Stan Lee/Walt Simonson/J. Michael Straczynski ‘Thor.’ We’re not doing the blow-the-dust-off-of-the-old-Norse-book-in-your-library ‘Thor.’ And in the ‘Thor’ of the Marvel Universe, there’s a race called the Asgardians. And we’re linked through this Tree of Life that we’re unaware of. It’s real science, but we don’t know about it yet. The ‘Thor’ movie is about teaching people that.”

Whatever he says, and if the final Thor movie is marvelous, I really doubt it’s gonna be “real” science. The film Thor is directed by : Kenneth Branagh and is starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, and Jaimie Alexander as Sif.

Plot:

The release date of Thor is set for May 6, 2011.

Katy Perry's Naughty Bits Top Twitter Trends

As has been acknowledged in the past, Katy Perry has one of the greatest Twitter feeds on the Internet. It's an incredible combination of high-concept inside jokes, reactions to food and truly amazing just-snapped photos. Late last night, Perry's feed became the center of a hilarious flame-up that began as a prank played by her producer and ended up with weigh-ins from the likes of Perez Hilton and Gabe Saporta.

It began when Perry tweeted, "Is it normal to have the reacurent [sic] rash with blisters on my vagina?" It was an unusual dispatch, but perhaps no more unusual than anything else that she unleashes (after all, she addressed rumors about her pregnancy by tweeting "That's right I'm bleeding" a few weeks ago). But then she followed that up with the message "Um you mean RECURRENT? Idiot. This is war!"
That message was tweeted at producer Dr. Luke, who apparently had hijacked Perry's Twitter account while the two were working together on Perry's next album. After apologizing to her mother, it seemed like things had gone back to normal. But then Dr. Luke hijacked it again and dropped this dispatch: "Oops I crapped my pants! It's messy. What should i do?"
"Stop hacking my Twitter!" she wrote to Dr. Luke. "I leave my computer for one second!"
Meanwhile, some of Perry's most famous followers got in on the action. "Katy Perry's vagina is trending! Amazing!" wrote Perez Hilton on his Twitter. "Let's get Katy Perry's vagina to #1 y'all!" Plenty of people followed suit, including Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta, burlesque performer Dita Von Teese, former Letters to Cleo singer Kay Hanley and Paris Hilton.
In the end, Perry apologized to her mother (again) and signed out of Twitter for the night. In the end, it was Dr. Luke who had the last laugh. "I told you I make number ones biatch!" he tweeted. "Now 'Katy Perry's Vagina' is the #1 trending topic!" As Perry learned, sometimes the Internet is like the ocean: You never want to turn your back to it for too long.

Boys Like Girls Never Forget the Quiet Concert Attendance

Jakarta - Thousands of people hunting Boys Like Girls concert. While the at first on they began their career. their concert only seen by 25 people. They never forget it. 
"Yeah that is unforgetable experience ," said Paul DiGiovanni, the guitarist, to detikhot when met at the Hotel Ritz Carlton, Central Jakarta, Sunday (25.1.2010).


Thats Boston Bands never expected their career could be big like now. Dozens of fans have been on stand in the lobby of the hotel where they stayed for the meet and photos together. Among them even come after at the airport.

Martin Johnson was in Jakarta for the preparation of their concert, at night of January 25, 2010  at the Tennis Indoor Senayan. Approximately 3 thousand potential viewers certainly have bought their concert tickets.

"Those fans were most passionate. Welcoming us at the airport, waiting at the hotel where we stayed. That's unusual. It was fun," he explained.

Being successful and was cheered many fans, has never been a dream of Boys Like Girls personnel whose age ranged from 22 yeas lod

"We just go through what we like and continue to make good music," he said.
